Thousands of health visitors and public health nurses across NHS Trusts in the UK have been trained to use the Promotional Guides.
Our online and in-person training and dissemination programmes give practitioners and teams the skills and knowledge to use the Promotional Guides successfully with parents and families.
Our digital and face-to-face Promotional Guide Practitioner and Train the Trainer programmes are highly successful, with participants responding positively to the strong evidence-base and partnership approach involved.
We work alongside each organisation to understand how they want to use the Promotional Guide System to improve the quality and consistency of services’, teams’ and practitioners’ engagement of mothers, fathers, parents and carers, the assessment of family needs during pregnancy and early infancy, and helping families to achieve successful, healthy early child and family outcomes.
We offer everything from one-off training sessions for small teams of community health and other practitioners to longer-term workforce development programmes involving large numbers of practitioners, managers and supervisors.
Our Promotional Guide Practitioner and Train the Trainer programmes are highly successful, with participants responding positively to the strong evidence-base and partnership approach involved.
