Our work focuses on helping parents give their children the best start in life. From pregnancy to adolescence, we develop and disseminate internationally recognised evidence-based community and specialist parenting programmes and interventions that are adopted around the world, setting the standard for child and family services and treatment innovation.
FPM is an internationally recognised exemplar of partnership practice for prevention, early intervention and the management of longer-term family difficulties. It brings together core evidence-based skills and methods of helping into an easy-to-use, flexible and relational approach.
From birth to adolescence, our portfolio of co-designed and co-produced community and specialist EPEC parenting programmes uses a parent-led approach to reach socially disadvantaged, Black and Minoritised and excluded families and communities.

Our Research, Evaluation and Development team, based at King’s College London, applies quantitative and qualitative research methods to evaluate the effectiveness of our programmes. The research and evaluation evidence generated is critical to ensuring that our programmes are effective and continue to improve.
